2019 Live Trench Training

In Collaboration with OSHA and Local Fire Departments

NUCA North Texas held its annual Live Trench Training on September 20, 2019 in Southlake, Texas at Bob Jones Park. NUCA North Texas presented this important safety event in collaboration with OSHA and with assistance from the Southlake and Grapevine Fire Departments.

After a morning welcome, approximately 300 attendees separated into seven groups and then rotated through seven different trench training stations.

Industry and OSHA professionals provided the trainings and answered questions, in both English and Spanish.

North Texas Damage Prevention Council

The “Damage Prevention Councils of Texas” is a 501 (c) (3) dedicated to underground utility damage prevention, along with the promotion of the “811 – Call Before You Dig” message and the Common Ground Alliance Best Practices. Currently, there are 23 Regional Councils encompassing the State.
